Hardware Limitations

Hardware limitations include speed, image loss and battery consumption. What this means that if a cameras shutter speed is slow this is a limitation for the hardware, the same applies for battery consumption which is a big problem for most hardware components that use batteries.

Computer monitors have limitations such as loss of brightness and effectiveness after 2 or more years and also the computer can’t be viewed from a side angle, it can only be viewed from directly in front and also prices for computer monitors are high so this may be a problem for many people.

The mouse of a computer also has its limitations; they require space which means that it is nearly impossible to use on an airplane and also needs to be regularly cleaned as it can get covered with dust and not work effectively.

A graphics tablet (which can be used in place of a mouse) although an excellent piece of equipment it can be more expensive than a mouse and can be different for some people to get used to and also it is not as precise as a plug in mouse.

Scanners are used to scan images from a piece of paper or a book and transferred onto the computer screen, the limitations of this are that it can be slow to process the image onto the computer and if broken the maintenance is expensive and also depending on the type of scanner the image quality can be quite pixelated.

Mobile phones are becoming more and more advanced in today’s world, with that comes lots of advantages, but also comes a lot of disadvantages such as the battery power does not last 1 day on most smartphones therefor if a person is out and needs the phone they won’t be able to use it, with the touchscreen phones it is extremely hard to be used under bright light or the sun which is a disadvantage to everyone.
